Kinderland’s Annual Graduation Concert is a pivotal year-end event for all – students, parents and even teachers. This year is no exception as the concert delivered a magical experience for all to enjoy. The theme – “Magical Wonderland”, celebrated one of Walt Disney’s quotes, “If you can dream it, you can do it.” The essence of the concert showcased the will and determination to turn dreams into reality; important traits every child should have.

The event was held on 13 January 2024 at Kompleks Tan Sri Jeffrey Cheah, Subang Jaya, commemorating the graduation of 83 Kindergarten Two (K2) children. Joined together in unison from six Kinderland centres.

Our valedictorians shared what they learned and loved in Kinderland in English, Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin, and Tamil.

Parents and family members enjoyed a spectacular show filled with a variety of performances from children, including music, dance and speech and drama performance.

Starting off the day’s proceedings was a march-in of the K2 students from all the six centres. It was a proud moment for all when the graduands received their graduation certificate, signifying their achievement of completing their preschool studies.

This was followed by the valedictorians’ speeches in four languages (English, Bahasa Melayu, Mandarin and Tamil) by all of the centre’s student representatives.

It was another joyful moment to see the children on stage, sharing their sentiments and thoughts on their graduation.

“Lavendar’s Blue” from Cinderella was one of the selected Disney’s song choices as part of the Children Music Programme (CMP) performance.

Then came the time for the graduates to showcase their musical performance skills. Through their stellar performance, we see a glowing tribute to their education in Kinderland’s music-infused curriculum and from the Kinderland’s Children Music Programme. This music programme not only trains the children in keyboard and music skills, but also enhances the children’s skills required for learning, such as language development, spatial-temporal adaptability, and concentration.

A reenactment of Snow White and the Seven Dwarves featured as part of the children’s Speech and Drama performance.

The concert also featured an array of magical performances dear to our hearts and even showcased their acting talents by performing an exciting drama of scenes from Snow White and the Seven Dwarves.

Cartwheels, air kicks, stance and full splits were included in the Wushu dance performance, showcasing the flexibility and acrobatic skills of these children.

The guests were further wowed by a wushu performance with the song “I’ll make a man out of you” from the movie Mulan.

The concert ended with all the children performing a dance “We’re all in this together” and a moving Kinderland song accompanied by their teachers.

All the graduates and their teachers gave two final performances as a bid of farewell to everyone who attended the concert.
