A Fan-tastic performance by Kinderland Preschool @ USJ combining fan dance routine and formation coordination.
Kinderland’s Annual Graduation Concert is always a cherished year-end event, and 2024 was no exception. This year’s theme, Retro Rewind, brought families and teachers on a nostalgic journey through the iconic music of the 60s, 70s, 80s, and 90s, celebrating the timeless tunes that have inspired generations.

Kinderland children of PJ Section 14 and Denai Alam performed crowd pleaser songs such as “Footloose” and “Beat It”.
Held on 14 December 2024 at PJ Live Arts, the event commemorated the graduation of Kindergarten Two (K2) children from Kinderland Malaysia centres. It was a day of pride and joy for all, marking a significant milestone in the children’s educational journey.
The concert opened with a spirited march-in of the graduates, their radiant smiles reflecting their excitement and pride. Following this, the audience was treated to heartfelt valedictorian speeches. This was delivered in four languages—English, Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin, and Tamil. The student representatives from each centre executed their lines brilliantly, showcasing Kinderland’s commitment to linguistic and cultural diversity.
“Dikir Puteri” dance performance from Kinderland Preschool @ Bangsar showcased the appreciation of an evergreen Malay-Zapin style dance and beloved song.
The highlight of the event was the dazzling array of curated setlist of musical and dance performances, inspired by the Retro Rewind theme. From ABBA to Michael Jackson, Saloma and Sudirman in between, the performance was a trip down memory lane. Parents were especially overjoyed to see Kinderland alumni and “Little Emcees” introduce every performance. Their courage and bravery speak volume when they had to come up on stage to deliver their memorized lines.
Much to the delight of everyone, this year, Kinderland decided to invite alumni from different centres to introduce the children’s performances. The Retro Rewind Graduation Concert was not only a celebration of the graduates’ achievements but also a testament to Kinderland’s dedication to fostering a love for learning, creativity, and cultural appreciation.
