Kinderland Malaysia brought together its principals, business partners, and department heads at Glenmarie Hotel & Golf Resort for the Annual Business Meeting (ABM) 2025, marking a pivotal moment to align collective goals under the inspiring theme “Defining Mission, Attaining Vision.” The event not only celebrated Kinderland Malaysia’s milestones but also set a bold trajectory for innovation, collaboration, and future growth in early childhood education.
Ms. Tay Mian Jee, General Manager of Crestar Education Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. (“CEM”) (master franchisee of the “Kinderland” brand in Malaysia) opened the session with an empowering address that reflected on the achievements of 2024, highlighted ongoing developments in 2025, and mapped strategic directions for 2026. Her address inspired participants to reimagine what is possible in education and to continue strengthening Kinderland’s mission of nurturing confident, compassionate global citizens.

The event was attended by business partners, principals, and key officials from Crestar Education Group (CEG), Singapore — the brand owner and master franchisor of Kinderland. CEG’s commitment to Kinderland’s success across the region provides valuable insights and guidance for partners and centre leaders to grow their expertise and business knowledge. Management representatives shared various updates and initiatives that are currently in progress and those planned for the near future.
The Curriculum Department shared upcoming enhancements in alignment with the Ministry of Education’s new preschool curriculum for 2026. Kinderland’s distinctive holistic approach—integrating emotional, physical, and social development—remains ahead of evolving standards, reaffirming its leadership in early childhood education.
At the same time, Kinderland Malaysia invests deeply in its people and professional excellence. Through National Training Week initiatives and collaboration with KLC International Institute (KLCII), educators are being equipped with advanced skills and future-ready mindsets. A key highlight was the introduction of the International Chinese Early Childhood Teacher Training Programme—a collaboration between KLCII (Singapore) and ChinesePlus (China)—designed to elevate global teaching competencies and prepare educators for multilingual learning environments.
The Marketing Department showcased Kinderland’s evolving brand journey, built on impactful campaigns and strong family engagement. Among its proudest achievements was being named Malaysia’s Best Preschool (International) at theAsianParent Awards 2025. With upcoming showcases at the Early Childhood Education Expo and the Malaysian Education Franchise Expo 2025, Kinderland continues to expand its reach and reinforce its reputation as a trusted, progressive preschool brand.
An engaging session led by Ms. Heidi Chong, Head of Early Intervention from Skool4Kidz Singapore, invited educators to see children’s challenging behaviours through a more empathetic lens—recognising behaviour as communication. Her insights reinforced Kinderland’s commitment to a child-centred approach that balances care, understanding, and development.

A key highlight of the event was the recognition of several centres by HQ across different award categories based on the Annual Quality Assurance Audit. The recipients were exhilarated and proud of their well-deserved achievements, reflecting the dedication poured into their centres. The annual audit is an integral event to ensure that all Kinderland centres are consistent in maintaining the quality of education to the children and the upkeep of their centres.
Such acknowledgements are vital in celebrating and reinforcing the efforts of our teams.
