Families, teachers, and children gathered to share the meaningful moment of breaking fast, creating a warm evening filled with connection and togetherness at Kinderland Preschool @ Denai Alam.
The spirit of togetherness was beautifully felt at Kinderland Preschool @ Denai Alam as children, parents, and teachers gathered for a special Buka Puasa evening during the holy month of Ramadan. The event created a warm and welcoming space for families to come together and share the meaningful moment of breaking fast within the school community.
As many families in our community observe the fasting month, the gathering was a thoughtful way to acknowledge and honour this important time of reflection, gratitude, and compassion. For the children, it was also a meaningful opportunity to experience the values of Ramadan — from patience and generosity to the joy of sharing a meal with others.

A joyful queue forms as families look forward to a delicious spread of Malaysian favourites shared during the Buka Puasa gathering.
The evening became even more special with the wonderful support of parents, who generously contributed a variety of dishes for the gathering. The shared spread created a festive and heartwarming atmosphere as families, teachers, and children sat together to enjoy the meal and celebrate the moment.
“Ramadan is a meaningful time that reminds us of compassion, gratitude, and the importance of community. We were truly heartened to see our families come together to share this special moment with their children. Experiences like these help our children develop a deeper appreciation for the values and traditions that shape our diverse community,” shared Ms Shamini, Principal of Kinderland Preschool @ Denai Alam.
Beyond the classroom, experiences like these allow children to learn about different cultural and religious traditions in a natural and meaningful way. More importantly, they help nurture empathy, understanding, and appreciation for the diverse community around them.

Smiles all around as families pose together, celebrating the joyful spirit of Ramadan and the upcoming Hari Raya.
The evening was filled with laughter, conversations, and the simple joy of connection as families bonded with one another outside the usual school routine. Moments like these remind us that a school is not only a place of learning, but also a place where friendships grow, values are nurtured, and communities are strengthened.
At Kinderland Preschool @ Denai Alam, we believe that meaningful shared experiences play an important role in a child’s development. By celebrating moments like Ramadan together, we continue to nurture a caring, inclusive environment where children and families feel a true sense of belonging.
